      Hi all,

I’ve noticed that in 4.36, the HMCS does not account for head roll angle when calculating the position of symbology for air to ground targets. The attached screenshots show how the steer point indicator does not change location within the HMCS when I tilt my head around my current line of sight. It appears that the HMCS code assumes that the head is level when calculating the position of symbology within the HMCS display.

      Steps to reproduce:

      1. Load a flight with an air start so that HMCS starts aligned
      2. Orient the aircraft so that the currently selected steerpoint 45 degrees off aircraft boresight
      3. Point the HMCS with your head level at a point (using track IR) so that the current steer point is near the edge of the HMCS FOV. Note the position of the steerpoint within the HMCS FOV
      4. Tilt head either way from level and place the HMCS crosshair on the point in step 3. Note that the position of the steerpoint symbology does not change relative to the HMCS crosshair (it should rotate around the crosshair opposite the angle you tilted your head)

Let me know if there’s any more information that might be helpful; I’ll be happy to provide it!
