Solved ATC problem
-
Hi,
Situation: Land at airbase, ie. talk to Approach, Tower and finally Ground to be allowed to taxi back to ramp. Park at ramp.
Problem: When you then want to take off again and Request Taxi for Departure, Ground does not respond.
It happens on multiple airbases. I have had the problem at Gunsan. And last night, I tried the “Welcome to BMS 4.36” TE, which will have you land at several airbases and the problem was present at Incheon, Yangyang, Muan and Thushima. I aborted the TE at that point so did not try the remaining airbases.
Really makes that TE unplayable which is a shame, because while I can take off (disregarding Towers scolding), I can’t get the AI to follow along for taxi. So my 4-ship became a singleton after the first landing.
To reproduce, land and park in any training TE and request Taxi for Departure from Ground. For instance, select the “Welcome to BMS 4.36” TE and land at Incheon which is the first airbase on the tour. Then after parking, ask Ground for Taxi for Departure.
Thanks,
