Eurofighter Typhoon FM Testing

@Scorpion82 All updates you shared are already in integration process

thanks for the feedback. There is quite a bit more content now and in particular a new flight model, which is work in progress. The present one within the beta is still an interim solution though.
General remark, the installation instructions in the readme still refer to BETA 1, instead BETA 1.1. Nothing changes with regard to the installation or affected files, however, the referenced import files are not included, as it would be a bit more complicated to include the import files, especially those for new record numbers, which aren’t present in the stock install.

Thank you!! I will give this one a go as soon as I have time
You should give OpenModManager a go, it is from the same guy who made OvGME
https://github.com/sedenion/OpenModManThe start is a bit complicated in choosing folders with the naming of context menus, but it is more powerful.

@DrJester
thank you for the hint. I may give it a try for a future beta release, if necessary. When the work is considered suitable and is directly incorporated into the stock release (some of the work will be included with the next update on 4.36), we’ll certainly be able to skip this and avoid the dance and any potential compatibility issues. -

I’ve not started to evaluate your new flight model, it will take some time to compute perfo diagram from OFM file (once data are loaded from OFM, it takes around 2-3 hours on my machine), but even after that, it will be difficult to build an argumented assessment as there is no public performance data for the plane.
If one know he can’t comment…

@TOPOLO
Don’t worry, as said the current BETA 1.1 FM is an interim solution anyway. I consider it good to go for the time being and definitely more accurate than the stock FM. I’m working on a more advanced one. Ofcourse it can’t be as accurate as the FM where detailed charts are available.In any case I would be interested in the plots, as it may ease assessment of the FM. I’m currently using an excel spreadsheet. Is the programme you use specifically designed to calculate the aircraft’s performance based on the dat content?

Is the programme you use specifically designed to calculate the aircraft’s performance based on the dat content?No, it uses as input an “proprietary” model format, but I can feed this model from an OFM file (this step is manual, but does not take so much time)

I have deleted the link to the open beta test version of the EFTP. The modded Typhoon is now fully integrated with the OFM Theater which can downloaded from
here.OFM development is now complete with v1.2. I’m now progressing with what I call the hybrid flight model, which attempts the development of an AFM. It might be a bit simplified though, compared to the extant AFMs for other aircraft.

@Scorpion82
This is good news, mate.
If you would like, please count me in for further testing.With best regards.

Hi Scorpion is possible to add your Typhoon 3d model in BMS 4.34 Balkans theatre?
