radio channels in ICP wont change

On both comm 1 and 2 channels, you can switch channel preset selections using the rocker arm switch on the ICP, but when I hit the enter button the selected preset switches back to the original preset, anyone else know anything about this? happens with both UHF and VHF.

@atlnbob Hi there, this is happening because it is not supposed to work like that.
You need to manually enter the frequency in the scratchpad next to it and then hit ENTER.

the way I understand it, the frequencies are preloaded into the DTC as single digit presets, switching from preset channel 5 to 6 for instance changes that frequency, any way, I can enter frequencies manually, the tower responds but the wingmen don’t, regardless if using presets or to enter the assigned frequencies manually, backup switch is set to UFC.

@atlnbob If you are on the CNI page (kind of the root page of the DED), you can switch preset up or down with the rocker switch. No need to press Enter. That is the easiest way to switch between presets
If you are on the subpage for UHF, you can enter a full frequency followed by Enter. Or, if you enter just a single digit it chooses that preset.
As for wingmen, you talk on VHF with them usually over preset 15 or 16. So even if you switch away to another freq or preset on UHF you should still be able to talk to wingmen.

I finally got this thing figured out, when I switch from tiger spirit to the rolling fire selection the wingmen then respond, I was doing the right things but tiger spirit selection has a game glitch not allowing the wingmen to respond, I will just now use one of the several other selections including rolling fire, I appreciate the assistance but this is what I find to be the issue.
p.s. in the meantime I would hope falcon bms would look into this glitch.

DID YOU KNOW…
that you can no matter what you are doing on the DED, switch to the last used frequency or preset for the radio by selecting the COM MASTER MODE (hit the COM button), followed by ICP ENTER. (you will be taken back to the ICP sub page you were on, but the radio will be updated.Very handy if you want to toggle back and forth between 2 different radio channels!

yes, I knew that, I never tried that, I hit the comm button followed by the rocker switch to select a single digit preset which represent frequencies assignet to that single digit, at that time I understood the enter button could then be pressed to make the frequency change once a new preset is selected.
