The table on page 239 in the TO BMS 1F-16CM-34-1-1 manual lists a bunch of SAM systems. Taking the SA2 for example, it lists ALIC codes for SAM system, FCR and EWR.

The entries for FCR and EWR make sense to me; handing them off to the AGM88 will make it prioritize either the FCR or EWR. What happens when one hands-off the SAM system, i.e. the ALIC code 102 in this case? What will the AGM88 select as its primary target?

I skimmed through the manual and could only find this on page 256 regarding the HAS mode:

When a threat in the table is a SAM system, the HAS will display its subsystems. In the case that two radars of the same systems
are closed from each other, the ALIC will display only one threat corresponding to the system symbol.

Which one will it go for in HAS? When using POS mode and handing off 102 (symbol “2”), what will be targeted? What is the advantage of adding just the SAM system ALIC code? To save space for more possible threats (using only 1 code per SAM instead of 2 for FCR/EWR)?

I have found this in the manual, page 245:

The Primary target is the handed off threat, in case of system it is the most dangerous threat (usually the FCR)

But that seems to be in relation to GLIDE and FLEX modes. What happens when GLIDE and FLEX are turned off?
