Solved [BUG] DED DEST Page cycles active STPT
-
Version
4.36.1 (x64)Build
26443Detailed Description
The DED DEST page cycles through active STPTs, when the next stpt is selected in the DEST page.
That happens regardless, which STPT is active, at the moment next STPT is selected in the DEST page, the active STPT also cycles up the same amount of steps. When the active STPT is #5 and on DEST page next STPT is selected, active STPT goes to #6. Does not occur while stepping down. Also does not occur when a STPT is manually entered into the DEST page.

- Launch BMS and enter 3D in a running jet
- Check which STPT is active and remember (ex. #5)
- Go to DEST page in DED (LIST-1)
- Check which STPT shows up, normaly #1
- Go STPT2 by using NEXT and RTN to DED CNI page
- Find active STPT is now up by one step to0 (ex. #6)
Expected Behavior
As the current and valid BMS Dash 1 (4.35) states on page 76, 1.3.16.1 DEST page (1):
The DESTination page looks similar to the STPT page. The main difference is that you can change any steerpoint coordinates without direct effect on the HSD -
Clearly a bug. Maybe the waypoint up command on the DEST page got confused with the next steerpoint command in programming. The inc/dec switch should change the value the arrows are next to, not the active steerpoint unless on the STPT or CNI home page with the arrows next to the value representing the active steerpoint. Entering the destination value digitally avoids this behavior.
The same sort of behavior happens on the LIST-MISC-9 WPT page where inc/dec changes the steerpoint active as if it was on the CNI page. Iām guessing because that WPT page is a static nonfunctional page.
