When trying to change the AGM-65L laser code (am unable to unlock the laser code by slewing the GPI to the L symbol, TMS UP and release. When this is done the L should turn into a U and the GPI should return to the center of the display.

@OPPOTATO - if you are trying to enter a laser code, you should be doing that through the DED. Placing the LMAV into Scan is done using Cage/Uncage, provided you don’t have a designation to slave to - if so, it should go from CAGED to SLAVED.

You should not be able to slew the LMAV GPI other than to change the elevation/depression of the horizontal pattern scan.

I have the same issue. When you move the GPI over the L, I also cannot get the U to appear with a TMS-up. This was not a problem with the 4.36 base install, but showed up with the U1 update.
If I desire to use Mav-L for a mission, I have been just leaving the default 1688 code when checking the Loadout page, and leave 1688 on the DED page in the viper.

Well noted, thanks. Some silly mistakes, should be fixed in a next release.

@Tumbler31 Since is broken now … no hard feelings, eh 🙂 … can we expect you deliver us some mfd-osb code changing … .not like this - “arcade way” of changing laser code.

You know, like in everything else , CTL button then just type in the code via osb’s … like LJDAM laser code change. OR “change cruise altitude of AGM-84E via mfd buttons input option” - that seems just fine , only is 3 digits … would need to add 4th … but you know what I mean

… and it wouldn’t be “too hard” jsut copy/adjust some part of other osd-input code

This way seems more plausible then “old way” , …

                    I think EVERYONE would agree.

                    Cheer and Thanks

I’ll put in a change request at LM and ask them to update the documentation accordingly 😉
