I have downloaded update 1 & 2 of 4.36. I have noticed that the version in the UI only shows the 4.36 installed version not the 2 updates. Can I remove the updates without having to do a complete uninstall and re-install?

If your install does not show U1 or U2 , then they are not installed, so no, you can’t “remove” them. What are you trying to accomplish? IIRC if you want to update you put the Falcon_BMS_4.36.1_Incremental.exe and Falcon_BMS_4.36.2_Incremental.exe into your x:\Falcon BMS 4.36 Setup folder, run them, then run “Setup.exe” to update BMS to 4.36.U2. All outlined here…

        Asus Z790-PLUS D4, Corsair 1000X PS \ Intel i9-13900KF @5.8Gz - Corsair H150i Liquid CPU cooler \ 64GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 @ 3192mhz \ SBlasterX G6 \ 2TB NvMe M.2 Boot Drive (BMS 4.37 installed here) \ Zotac GeForce RTX 4090 Trinity 24GB - Nvidia 537.42 drivers \ 3 Samsung LC32G53TQWUXEN 32" 7680x1440 at 144Hz Gsync \ Win11 Pro Ver.  22H2 - Build 23550.1000 \ TIR 5 \ Warthog HOTAS with VirPil stick base \ MFG V3 Pedals \ TM MFDs  on 2 8" Lilliputs \ Simgears ICP \ Varjo Aero VR

I have the same question. Since installing U2, all runs well for about a week. Then the sim will not load. I did a complete reinstall on the first event. Now I wish to uninstall U2 only as a trouble shooting measure. BTW the sim will not load either by using the native Launch window or by Alternative Launcher. So, the question remains, can this be done?
          Many thanks.

            You cannot uninstall an update…

@asw200 Reinstall 4.36.0 from scratch then between each update, make a copy of the C:\Falcon BMS 4.36 folder.

Each will consume about 18 GB.

Then you can launch any specific version directly eg. C:\Falcon BMS 4.36_U1\Bin\x64\Falcon BMS.exe

              C:\Falcon BMS 4.36\Bin\x64\Falcon BMS.exe will always be latest/greatest.

Note this is not “supported” in any official way – eg. I don’t think tools like Alt Launcher will work with this arrangement.

It’s just what I do, to regression-test bugs from one update to the next.

@airtex2019 Tiny note on this method for those who may not know (as I’m sure airtex2019 is aware): it will only work on the same drive, due to root directory pointers in the Windows Registry. If our BMS is on the C:/ drive, we can copy BMS to that drive, but not to any other such as D:/ etc.
