      Thanks,

I don’t think you can go wrong with either. I know guys that have been flying with the X52 Pro for years and when I started up I was using the X56. I still have it as a backup; for me, it was the best option.

          I’ve had a x52 for roughly 20 years.

It’s main stick is perfect to this day. The throttle works very well as well (no spikes, although range changes every now and then).

The other wheels (slider and the two wheels on the throttle) are basically garbage. Minimouse does not work either.

          The buttons are all fine.

I used the X52 (non-pro) for the better part of 7 years before I had to replace it, went with the X52 Pro this time. Would recommend it, even for the price - solid stick, good layout, and can be modded down the road if desired.

As stated above, the rotaries and the slider on the throttle are not exactly precise enough to use for some simulator tasks, but in my X52 Pro Falconeer profile for BMS, I used to make use of the slider as a dogfight/mrm mode with “center” exiting either of these modes, now I use it for the speedbrake so I can open/close it partially rather than just ‘all open’ or ‘all closed’.

I also make use of the mini-stick as radar cursor, and though I’m familiar with folks having issues with the mini-stick, I don’t have them myself using the ‘bands’ method (again, using my X52 Pro Falconeer profile - I think it’s in the Saitek section of these forums)

If you are asking me, it’s X-56 with no buts nor doubts about.

I used a -52 for more than a few years, but the-56 has been a real upgrade - and I am using it still, even after changed the stick with a Warthog one, because it’s more versatile. I changed something to make it more stiff and precise, but the same… it’s here, a rock.

My one little Euro cent here.

                  With best regards.
