@Sunnny, did you sort out if the MFD’s will work with BMS?

I’m just glad to see that somebody finally did proper 5" Hornet displays!!!

Hi falconed2000,
I have not bought them yet, so no practical experience from my side.
They seem to work with DCS F18, you can find videos on Youtube.
I think, they also work for the DCS AH-64D.
I have read somewhere, that there are small buttons between the big buttons. So I’m still in the PreSales phase trying to get some info.
Cheers

Reading the SimApp manual Sec.7.1.1 and Sec 7.1.2 I would assume the screen to be usable like any other self-contained „usb screen“ (e.g. Cubesim, Enyo, lilliput etc.). At least from what I‘ve read and interprete.
You’d need to install the driver as mentioned in the manual and SimApp only provides the „configuration“ for „some games“ to define what to export to which screen in what size.
My happy guessing would be, installing the driver and using RTT or the like will work. Can anyone confirm this?
The thread seems to be stale. But as ‘m currently looking for proper display solutions and winnings mfds are on the list of „screens to consider“, I thought to necro it.
That said, I’ve read <somewhere> on www, that winwing is currently developing some „viper specific mfd“. Any clue if this is was just a hoax?

@Tiger-0 I am expecting mine (2xMFDs) sometime next week. I will update when I have them up and running. I hope that they will work as flawlessly as the ICP does so far.

@Tiger-0 I got them yesterday. They need some assembly, not a big issue but some may find it annoying. Go to their site and download the respective manuals, because there are none in the box. It took me more time to find the best MFD-MP1 (the clamp base) configuration for my rig than to assemble the MFDs though. The only problem that I encountered is that the power of the USB hubs I am using could marginally cope, so for one of the MFDs I used the USB-C power socket. After that, they worked fine. There is a setup sequence in Simapp and you have to follow the steps accordingly. The extraction is made through RTT, but it is done in the background from Simapp, you don’t have to do the RTT settings yourself.
After I got them up and running, I really liked the result. I fly with a 65 inch TV at 4K, but still the MFD display is better, especially the TGP. I believe that my laptop hates me for overloading it with all this stuff, but it is coping so far.
Edit: It turns out that the power of the USB hubs was enough but I hadn’t fixed the plug firmly. It has a bolt that it is supposed to hold the cable in place, but I don’t use it because of the way I set it up on my rig. Now it works only on the USB 3 cable and it is flawless.
