Virpil T-50 CM profile
-
Hello,
Just today I dig up my old T-50 CM throttle (the old big one, with a red button and red flip switch button) and install BMS 4.37
Do you have any profile for that? Or what existing profile should I use for reference? Coming from simple games like War Thunder or DCS Mig-21Bis, I do not use a lot of buttons on the throttle nor do I need more than flaps, gear, and the throttle itself.

@anakinsolo I have the next version CM2 and I just used the so-called Alternative Launcher back then. That is now the standard launcher. You should be able to use that to assign buttons and axes

yes, i use basically the alternative launcher to do the mapping. But as I mentioned above, I do not have any idea what else to map beside throttle, gear, flaps, because the games I have been playing are relatively simple compare to BMS.
I would like to have some sort of profile, that maps most of the important stuffs, like those HOTAS profiles in the game folder

@anakinsolo Right I see now what you were asking. I am not sure Virpil profiles can be shared (could be wrong though). But as for what is relevant to map, you should look at the print layouts in the HOTAS subfolders, eg. the “Falcon BMS 4.37\Hotas\Saitek X-65F\HOTAS Print Layout.pdf”.
There are some really good suggestions in those files as to what is practical and useful to map on a throttle. If the CM is anything like the CM2, you will have an abundance of hats and buttons so you should be able to match any of those suggested layouts.

@jayb right, thank you. This is what I am looking for. I vaguely remember from 4.34 that there was a pdf file, that showed something like this but it was in Docs folder.
Also, I used T16000 flightstick, the alternative laucher doesn’t recognize the hat on top of the stick for trimming. Do you have any suggestion?

I am not sure what could cause this. The hat of my stick works fine, I do have this in my Falcon BMS.cfg file:
set g_nNumOfPOVs 2
Other than that, I would suggest asking in the support forum here: https://forum.falcon-bms.com/category/21/joysticks-input-devices

@jayb thank you for helping. I will try with the provide warthog files and work my way from there
