All I can say is “I NEED HELP”.

I’ve been trying, without success, to be able to download BMS.
I don’t know how to respond or what to do to enable the recognition
of a torrent file, I just get more confused as I keep trying.
Is there a Thread I can go to and get a simple explanation and
process to follow? Am I getting involved with something over my head?

Thanks ahead of time …… TonyB

You need a “Torrent” client to download files shared over the net. Go here http://www.utorrent.com/

It is a down loading app that uses what is called a 'torrent" file to connect you to lots of other people who are either downloading the same file or just “seeding” that file.

It downsloads from lots of sources rather than just a single “host”. Usually very fast.

Don’t forget “Google” is your friend, look it up on Yahoo.

Instead of the torrent, you can also download here the full setup:

I’ve not downloaded and tried to install this yet, but I guess once extracted into a folder,
then start setup.exe and when asked for the originally Falcon.exe, then point to your inserted CD.

I have searched mutiple website yet cannot find an understandable set of instructions howto reinstall after screwing it up trying to add Tom’s flight models; is there a one click self installer BMS 3.2 + 1-7 updates anybody know of please?

uTorrent does have an opt-out piece of software in the install. Pay attention during install and don’t agree to a part you don’t want. It uses some CPU cycles for bit coin mining or something like that. It’s not cool but won’t do any real harm. Next time around I’m going to seek enough a new torrent client though.

                      Tom made flight models?

Thanks for your help. I just knew there is a better and easier way to get
through this….except, while attempting to install the program, it states it
can’t find the “setup.cfg”. I did a limited install of Falcon 4 and tried the install
again…I have the F-4 disc in the dvd and it still states the “setup.cfg” is
                        missing…Help !!!

You dont install the original Falcon4.0 you just need the disk to prove you own a copy.

On reinstall you must manually delete the old BMS key from the registry; that’s what I missed as ASC and CCleaner did [email protected]:
