Can't get into VR, does the Launcher have to override?
-
I map my controls via the 2D UI so I have the yellow box ticked. I also have a direct-to-exe shortcut which I usually use for regular flying. However, to test out VR, I go through the Launcher, but I can’t seem to get into the 3D cockpit or even the 2D UI in VR. My G2 will show me the Steam VR “home” but my desktop will show the BMS 2D UI and 3D cockpit.
Is it possible to start VR via the Launcher with this box ticked? Or better yet, is there a way to start into VR without having to use the Launcher?
Thanks!

@Atlas try the oldschool Launcher.exe then Config … ?
(I don’t have VR to verify, but seems like it’d work.)

you may also need to “repair” your ‘falcon bms.cfg’ file, if AL has helpfully overridden the settings from Config.exe
(viz. delete the line near the bottom that says
// SETUP OVERRIDE
if you want to un-apply the overrides AL has left behind.) -
@airtex2019 Thanks! Seems like that box has to be ticked otherwise the Launcher will not edit the .cfg file to go into VR. Either that or go manually into the .cfg file and change 0 to 1 or vice versa.
