Unsolved Point defense (Phalanx, AK-630) not working.

I was curious how is this stuff working and to my surprise - its not.
Yes they fire and and try to intercept incoming (AGM) but they never hit. In 50 iterations none hit.
(bigger chances to hit a Tomahawk with AK74).
Checked hitbox on Harpoon, it exist…
Low flying planes gets obliterated if flying too close…
But hit an AGM … would take a miracle.
I suspect it is hit(collision) detection ? …(anti missile defense - sam , is working … but guns, no)
Repro - piece of cake, reduce quantity of sam missiles on any ship (tested on Type53H3(Perry model) , and Sovremeny) to 1 or 0. Watch the fireworks.
Can you please check what’s wrong with it.

Yes naval wessels should have CIWS. Most of them don’t shoot at all when they are supposed to have 20mm or 30mm defense. For example OSA II has 30mm and used to shoot now it doesn’t.

By way of experiment.
Move the cannon slots up and the Styx missle down (as in the screenshot). And try fly near OSA.
For me, this ship now shoots from a cannon at planes flying nearby. -

All point defense guns must be at the top… let’s say weapons have to be sorted by range - shortest at the top, longest at the bottom.But guns, they never hit an agm, maybe it is because of visual sensor. - small hitbox for agm.
(Player) Planes do get hit by 30mm, no problemMaybe we need special sensor (real time visual?) for guns and put into vehicle. - but how to limit sensor just for guns???
Visual - is deliberately impaired as per design, that’s ok. The more time you spend in sensor hit pk is rising.
But agm is just passing by… until hit… it won’t “cruise around”.
Maybe we need special 20/30mm “bullet” -> type of missile.dat with radar guidance in sim/missiledata // eg:AGMInterceptionPK 90
there are few steps to this problem … well , only time is an issue
coders will know what to do
