The brevity codes have been obtained and translated from this official USAF document.

We have tried to be as faithful as possible to the original text, most of the Brevity Codes have been translated so that new pilots can learn them and know what they mean. Please note that I am not an expert either, you may find some mistakes.

To have the Radiotexts translated in the Baltic and Georgian theaters you first have to add the “F4Talk.csv” file to the Korea theater, computer magic does the rest.

Con este proyecto solo pretendo ayudar a los pilotos hispanohablantes que no hablen ingles a entender un briefing y facilitarles un poco las cosas.

With this project I just want to help spanish speaking pilots who don’t speak english to understand a briefing and make things easier for them.

Firstly, thank you for this great work, for the Spanish-speaking community. There are pilots who still do not speak English well and this will be helpful, but it would also be good if they make an effort to learn the English language since this is the universal language and more so in aviation.

@VIPER-0 You are absolutely right, English is a must, the problem is that not everyone wants to or can learn it. I have friends who don’t fly Falcon simply because they don’t know English and don’t know what you have to do… The briefing is as important as knowing how to shoot, if you don’t know what your target is you will hardly finish a mission with success.

Yo tengo difusamente en mente el proyecto de sacar a trozos manual de entrenamiento en castellano y con una maquetación más atractiva y adaptada para el visionado en pantallas widescreen. (la contrapartida es que invalidaría el poder llevarse las hojas al pierno en cabina)

Por otra lado, ¿las voces en BMS no son generadas sintéticamente?

P.S: En lo que si ayudaría es en la traducción de la interfaz de usuario, ¿se le puede meter mano? Diría que mucho mas relevante y con mayor impacto que la enciclopedia/TacRef.

That said, thank you very much for your words, I’m glad you like the Mod…
The bad news is that I have lost all the work I had done with TacRef, I have become quite depressed if I am honest…not if I will be able to start it again.
As for the voices, there is already a project underway from a colleague from that forum, we were working together for a while but I found myself overwhelmed and I don’t know how he’s doing now.

Your project sounds very interesting, maybe the guys who make the manual at BMS can give you the original files for you to edit, you will have to talk to them, I know someone recently asked for them to translate them into Chinese

As for translating the interface, they are in files that are not within my reach, only BMS Devs can do that.
