Falcon BMS Traducido al Español...Falcon BMS Translated into Spanish

@Carbide I wasn’t referring to Max, he defends that English should be spoken in this forum and I totally agree with him…in my previous post I specify who I am referring to.

We sometimes forget that BMS is just a simulator. While we all agree that English is the standard language in aviation, not everyone speaks it fluently. So, do we close the door on those who don’t? Or do we welcome them by providing localised texts to help them engage with the sim?
Excluding non-English speakers only limits the community. BMS already has a steep learning curve, why make it even more complicated? Other flight simulators have done an excellent job integrating multiple languages, making their sims more accessible to a broader audience. There is no reason BMS shouldn’t strive for the same.
I supported Apolo’s work on Gibraltar Theatre to give vPilots an opportunity, not an obstacle.

@Apolo27 Understood.

@Maru amén!

Thank you so much, Maru, for everything in general, for accepting me into the Gibraltar project in particular, for your unconditional support, and also for offering me your friendship. Hugs

@Apolo27 Well said.

I tend to agree.
(for context I’m a commercial translator and interpreter).
That said, the language of this forum is English, and its hosts are English speaking. If I started writing in Japanese here (my other language) it would be unreadable and incomprehensible and people would justifiably complain. It would also be impossible for moderators.
I fully support the idea of creating language packs for BMS, but the language used in this forum should be English, or at the very least, other-language+English translation. Posting in languages not spoken by the forum hosts is something that should be avoided.
As for the old “English being the language of aviation” well. Yeah. Maybe. OTOH I helped train Japanese SDF (their airforce-equivalent) in English and trust me… the English you’ll hear in this region is only English by a stretch. The same is true in many places.

Now, thanks to Maru, we have an executable that installs the mod in all available theaters. It’s no longer necessary to install the files separately, saving time and simplifying the process.
In the DropBox folder, you’ll find the zip file with the executable, as well as the individual files, in case you want to explore them.
Thank you so much for this, Maru. -

Wow!! I hadn’t thought of that… the Gibraltar theatre has a language change, also done by maru… and there you can do it… here at the moment you can’t, so you have to save a copy of the files in English (Here the donkey only walks forward xDD)… Summary, it is installed with the executable and it is uninstalled manually replacing the translated files with the originals… Thanks for the comment and we will work on it.

@Apolo27 xDD, ay la burra!
Perfect, thank you
