Balkans Theater Thread

Please understand that this is only an update. You need to have the Balkans Theater 4.37.0 full installer installed first and then install this update

Here is a change log of fixes and additions

• Removed ILS Monitor Antenna from objectives
• Updated Tornado cockpit textures with higher res textures
• Fix range of AS-34 missile
• Added new callbacks / renamed old callbacks
• Revert F-18 cockpits changes for switches
• Audio and Menu rework for overhead
• 4.37.2 WASP ILS fix
• Comms added for AI to give Bullseye with target
• Removed unused texture
• Updated IAF F-16 texture
• Updated F-16A-IAF and B-IAF cockpit ejection seat label
• Fixed some data inaccuracies in the stations+ils.dat file
• Updated Navaid charts and listing.
  • Removed TACAN line for Aviano since it was not working. TACAN is now attached to Aviano airbase
  • Capodichino Airport ILS frequencies were backwards…fixed those
  • Miramare/Rimini Airbase had ILS frequency attached to the incorrect runway
• All Army bases have 12 Heli Spots
• Fixed point data at Rijeka, Mostar, and Sigonella
• Removed empty point header from Carriers LHD-1 and 2, Kuznetsov, and Carrier Type 001
• 3d kneeboards update
• Data files needed for the MP integrity check on sim-data folder eg ‘C:\Falcon BMS 4.37 \Data\Add-On Balkans\Sim’ incl all subfolders
• data files needed for the MP integrity check on xml files in objective- base data and theater folders
• Updated aircraft models from Luke777
  • Following aircraft updated are: F-117A, MV-22, Su-25, and U-2.
  • Updated BMSrack.dat for Su-25
  • Removed unused textures to keep database clean
• Updated Su-25 Skin from DPRK to Russian
• Fixed wrong data in SA-5C
• SA-6 missile changes for better close range engagements
• Fix SA-N-9 missile (match SA-15)

It creates a sub-data in data.
Theater.lst is not automatically edited.

Having a slight problem with the new Su-25…

Skin is weird.

F-117 and U-2 are weird too.

My joystick is not mapped anymore if I start the Balkans theater using the falcon launcher… in korea everything works fine. Is this a know bug?

Same here. XMT 1-4 is not clickable in 3D pit and the callbacks also don’t work.

Another thing I noticed is that the installer adds an invalid line in the theatre.lst file.

@Hubert3000 Same thing happened to me I corrected by uninstalling the Balkans theatre and reinstalling the full Balkans Theatre U2 rather than using the U2 patch to update.

Try the full install and see if that is any different.

I downloaded the full installer and now XMT 1-4 on Block 50 works fine. There might be something with the updater.

But the theatre.lst file still contains an invalid line.
This is how it looks like now:

TerrData\TheaterDefinition\Korea KTO.tdf
Add-On Balkans\Terrdata\theaterdefinition\Balkans.tdf
Add-On Korea TvT\TerrData\TheaterDefinition\Korea_TvT.tdf
Data\Add-On Balkans\Terrdata\theaterdefinition\Balkans.tdf

I guess the last line is invalid and not needed?

Ok I have fixed the updater so it should be good now.

If you have an extra line for the Balkans in the alternate launcher, go to you Theater.lst file and remove the line that says…

Data\Add-On Balkans\Terrdata\theaterdefinition\Balkans.tdf

Then make sure you do not have a DATA folder inside you Falcon BMS 4.37/Data folder. If you do, delete it.

Then re-download and reinstall the updater…it should all go to the correct place this time.

If you continue to have problems, remove the Balkans theater from your install by using the installer. Make sure you backup any campaigns or tactical engagements you want to keep.

Reinstall Balkans Theater 4.37.0 and then install Balkans Theater 4.37.2 Update 1.07.2 on top. This should get you all back to square one.

My apologies for the mess up. I should all be fixed now though.
