Any news about falcon bms 4.33
-
One new guy asked, and a few of us have a bit of with it and that turns into “everyone so desperate”
Amazing
Selective quoting, love it. Not so amazing, more and more 4.33 threads are appearing. Don’t you do “figure of speech” down under anyway?
-
Dee-Jay it will be a revolution for sure.
U guys have an everyday use of it and u are used to it as u follow every step of the progress.
When 4.33 will become public for the advanced users that look for the details and tactics and as real as it gets it will be a leap as 4.32 was according to what was posted in this forum here and there…
for the novice users it will be more like visuals and why I can’t hit the target or why I can’t see the other guys in the rwr and etc…
So from my POV and how u guys tend to work on I’m more then sure that it will be a huge step up that will make payware blush… as it did when 4.32 came out.
Sure it will not be perfect but way closer to perfect.
I’m also sure that even a few months ago if u released it it would have the same effect. I’m not saying u should have released it. Just that the level you reached would already be a shock to the community.
Nice thing from the team to be humble… but I believe u are way to humble on this aspect.

Selective quoting? poppycock, it was your opening so you cant claim “out of context” and it even deteriorate from there.

The potential for Bull##### when we talk about 4.33 …is big.

Yet you choose to ignore the whole point of my post…? Just for you, I’ll elaborate - 4.33 will be out when its out. BMS have a long and distinguished history of not shouting about when they plan to release or what they plan to release. Nothing is going to change that. 4.32 still has plenty to offer, especially the newbies. Why a newbie should be worried about what a new version is going to bring when there is no chance of them fully exploring 4.32 is, in my humble opinion, is a nonsense. And if we’re honest, anyone who flies 4.32 and thinks, this isn’t enough for me, is either a fully qualified jet pilot, or a greedy and unappreciative type who won’t stick around for too long to appreciate what 4.33 might offer anyway. I’m not asking you to agree, or even appreciate, my opinion, but I do ask you allow me to make it without trying to pick fault.
I concede however maybe I should have left out my qualifier, but then making inane and unqualified statements I choose to leave to others.

Found this but the wings don’t look right & and i’m not shore if it has a 3d pit or not.
No 3d pit, but perhaps a barbeque pit?
-
Well, things I expect from BMS 4.33 (things that MAY change):
- Better stock tiles included (someone will hopefully provide their high-res tiles) and some better 3D objects together with 3rd party 3D- pits for some more airplanes
- Trees and maybe other ground features in a more advanced way
- some avionics fixes/ improvements (rwr, Block 52+ features?, maybe TFR with the LANTIRN pod, maybe different RWR types or more detailed radar types?)
- maybe better IADS (just a guess)
- improvement for VTOL’s FBW like the Harrier which might actually be working in 4.33 according to what I have heard here
- heard that the DB will change a lot, so I expect some more improvements in the campaign engine and/or more detailed aircraft / vehicle capabilities (different types can carry this or that, maybe JDAM’s more like a bomb, more weapon types or something, but that’s guessing)
- stable release
- stable multiplayer code (just guessing: maybe with IP v6 support + automatic bw setting for clients according to host so nobody forgets that)
Still, it will remain a more or less pure F-16 simulation and I don’t expect it to get a complete graphic overhaul. But I think it will look a bit better than before.
Rumor has it it will still run on the same PC and 4.32, but will offer some more support for the better hardware nowadays- so if you do have a good PC, it might benefit from that but if you don’t, you’ll most probably be able to still join the community and get airborne together with your folks.
Just guessing and collecting what has been said about 4.33 in the forums here from people who know.No software will ever be perfect, so you will still see areas in which even 4.33 won’t be perfect. 4.32 isn’t either. But it is the best flightsim we currently have in terms of realism. DCS has the better looking terrain, but still the A-10C is their only high-fidelity module that is able to keep up with the depth of bms (imo).
Yes, I’d like to have trees, power wires and a lot more houses. But that won’t stop me from enjoying that sim. The pure feeling like actually flying is stunning when small turbulence rock your jet while you ingress your target.
The multiplayer experience is awesome.
It won’t crash when nobody outside is messing it up.
It’s way more than good graphics which makes that truely a masterpiece of simming.Enjoy that what we have now. Don’t wait for 4.33 and build dreams no one ever can fullfil. Grab your fellows and get airborne, there’s no better sim outside right now. Waiting for things you don’t have right now spoils the fun with enjoying what you have.
It’s like that life outside: Enjoy it. You can have good times right now or wait for good times to come to realize you have wasted time that you could have used for having fun instead of waiting for it.
If you really want to improve things, contribute to the community by pushing squad activies, modding, helping newbies or whatever. The community keeps this alive. -
Why is everyone so desperate for 4.33 anyway? Is 4.32 so bad or so boring you need an immediate better and more interesting replacement? Or is it a case everyone has surpassed Ace setting and are looking for a new improved level of challenge? Shoot, I got more than 1000 hours in 4.32 now and I am still discovering new tricks and tips!
I say enjoy 4.32 for what it is, cos it is STILL the finest Air Combat Simulator available, and appreciate you’ll get 4.33 when it’s done! I mean, you wouldn’t eat half-cooked barbecue, would you…?
If your next barbecue takes 4 years to cook trust me you will get moderately desperate too ( or at least your guests will ) :uham:

Hey c’mon guys and maybe gals, keep calm here.
I deem a revolution for some mightbe a step backward for others, but our team just did what looks the best to us, while we know most of you will really love it.
Just trust in us, I’m sure you won’t feel crestfallen or disappointed.
That’s all folks.

VERY Well said !!

It never ceases to amaze me when people has a great sim and constantly imply what needs to be added to this sim. I have done this myself. I want more, but what we have is already far ahead of anything else out there.
I remember a few years ago when Global Falcon was the best thing out there and everyone was scrambling to get a more stable MP environment and fix some of the problems Falcon had when it was first created. They did it! And that was a huge undertaking. Back then, it was about fixing all the issues to make Falcon more stable and add features that were otherwise broken or not designed in the original Falcon.
The bms team has kept that philosophy. The first priority was to fix the lingering problems that exist in Falcon. They are still at it. 4.33 will have many problems address/fixed. Not huge problems, rather game process and avionics issues. Small to the noob but huge to the advanced player.
I am expecting some gfx improvements, but not a huge upgrade. Dunc has put it out there that the next version of Fbms will be a new platform requiring a much newer OS. That would imply that the gfx engine will be overhauled. That version, may it be 10 plus years down the road, will be one of the biggest leaps forward for Falcon. Until then I am very happy with what we have now and what will come from 4.33. All the eye candy we will get now and in the future is still better that what we had in the past. -
I barerly know how to use the BMS 4.32 F-16 in simple combat tactics …so don’t know about 4.33, but will for sure be a challenge for me.
-
Maybe a simple line of text should be added to avoid countless of similar topics…
-
High chance that you will be disapointed because the real 4.33 doesn’t look way diferent.
Don’t worry, I am not expecting any graphical revolution in 4.33, and this is anyways not what I’m the most interested in

If no one knew of 4.33’s existence no questions would be asked…

Who says it exists? Prove it, sir.
