Cannot Install 4.37.1 and 4.37.2

I need help: I cannot install 4.37.1 and 4.37.2 using the Alt Launcher updated Updater.exe… I followed the Install Manual, updated the Updater.exe and was able to install and launch 4.37.0 Build 322 in 3D. Downloaded and ran vc.redist.x86.exe and vc.redist.x64.exe successfully. Ran (using Win10 Start/Run) “HKLM\software\wow6432Node\Benchmark Sims\Falcon BMS 4.37” /f /v “curPatch” /d “0”. Then ran Alt Launcher.exe and used updated Updater to check for changes…found 4.37.2 and it downloaded Update 1.0.7z.001 and 1.0.78.001.sha256. tried to launch Alt Launcher.exe but it was missing from Launcher file. Tried to launch using launcher.exe but the “launch and editor” selection on the initial BMS window was “grayed-out”. Also tried to use the shortcut but that failed because the alt launcher.exe had been changed or moved. What am I doing wrong?

This shouldn’t be necessary… it was a way to reset a failed update. But I fear it might be outdated advice, and causing problems, with the latest updater.

Thanks, I will uninstall what I have now 4.37.0 “muddled up” and start over without the Start/Run parameter… Once the updated Updater.exe executes, it ids 4.37.2, ask if I want to install 4.37.1 and takes off…it downloads update 1.07z.001 and 1.0.7z.001.sha256, but the end results is “muddled files”… no Alt Launcher.exe, no BMS config files, etc. -
@Tiger78 Try the offline update which is better IMO because you can save it and then if you reinstall nothing to download again, and you don’t need to bother with the updater which people have been having problems with.
Download game, download patch 1 and 2 (offline updates) and install. I just did a fresh install and it was fast and easy as I had game+patches saved on backup drive.

Offline update worked…I’m up to date. Alt Launcher is significant improved BMS feature…confident the issues with the Updater.exe will be resolved by the world class BMS Development Team!
