Daegu APC RWY13R incorrect
-
It appears that Daegu APC RWY13R is incorrect. It shows 13L on the lower runway on the chart and just above that 31R. Surely they would have the same heading as they are L and R?
It also seems this chart is named wrong and should be Daegu_APC_RWY31L.png.
If I am correct, the other airport charts for runways at Daegu are also probably incorrect.
Just caused some confusion in finding the parking spot:. 31L D F 04.
Happy to be corrected.

I also think the ILS localizer for Daegu 31L is misaligned, or the wrong ILS frequency is printed on the approach chart. Every time I run the approach, it centers me on 31R, which makes the tower very mad.
-
hummm… why is your heading 131 for a 31 runway then?
-
@MaxWaldorf You know, that would explain why the approach was taking over ten minutes, why I kept losing the TACAN beacon as I hit the radial, and why approach never transferred me to tower. You’d think after spending a few hours staring at a compass, I’d have actually read the numbers at some point.

It’s obvious why it’s not working I think
.
Please execute the correct pattern and confirm everything is correct/not correct. -
Any thoughts on the original post?

I will check and fix for U3 if the bug is confirmed.

In general for parking after landing, when coming in on 13L you should use the reciprocal APC chart, ie. the one for 31R. Rationale would be that you want to park as close to where you vacate the runway as possible.
I think the parking charts should be thought of as designed for takeoff, ie. where you spawn. To help when landing we then need to swap around.
The parking charts have gone through some iterations. Right now at least for Daegu they do not all point North ? Not a huge deal, but different from the other charts. Same for the airport diagram (Daegu_Airport.png), seems to be offset a bit from true North

Correct. This has been changed due to layout limitations. We could add a geological north in future.

@Micro_440th Not a big deal, but if you could that would be fine. It’s due to the layout requirements for the knee boards, no ?

@jayb Kneeboards and charts in general.
