Can't disable VR

Hello guys So I wanted to take a look at good old Falcon again with VR. So yesterday I had a lot of fun and enjoyed BMS in VR.

So to have some training sessions and read parallel on my tablet I wanted to disable VR, which I did in the config file. I also checked the falcon bms.cfg file where “set g_nVRHMD” is set to 0. I also tried the alternate Launcher application and disabled VR their too.

However, BMS doesn’t let me get into 2D Mode again. The game always opens Steam VR, even with the Headset disconnected. Any ideas how to solve that issue? I’m on Reverb G2.

@Teakettle check your ‘falcon bms user.cfg’ file… that supercedes ‘falcon bms.cfg’

and I believe it’s what Alt Launcher modifies … not sure why AL is not behaving tho

@Teakettle If you launch the game via the Launcher, and VR is enabled in the Launcher, it overrides the .cfg settings so check that it is on or off in the Launcher as well.

That was the solution! In the user.cfg it was still valued with “1”
