Another noob question. I was in AA mode scanning in RWS and I think after committing EWS (CMS back) I couldn’t slew the cursor anymore. How can I get back to active cursor / radar? When I hit CMS left the EWS light goes off, but the I can’t still move the cursor…

CMS Left should be Chaff/Flare Program 6, I think.

EWS on or off should not affect FCR/HSD/HAD cursor movement.

Im not sure but it sounds like you changed your aa mode to ACM slew. No cursor, just point the jet and lock the target at that point. Sounds like what happened. I am not sure. Need a sceen shot to confirm.

If you have a Saitek Stick and Throttle check you do not have a ROTARY open i.e. not centred.

This can sometime screw up all sorts of things ;0)

No, ACM slewable is rather different to ACM BORE (which is what you are describing).

ACM SLEW in BMS is basically the same as BORE but IRL the two are not the same. Even in BMS, slewable does still have a cursor.
