Merge three monitors into one beamer
-
Hey gents,
I just want to give it a quick thought before I leave it be. Currently, BMS is running on three full HD monitors. Because mounting those in a pit is (well at least a little) troublesome, I thought about a short-throw HD beamer.
This beamer would give me the same “display size” horizontally, and some more vertically. While I am fully ok with losing some resolution (in terms of horizontal), I am not ok with losing displayed angle.
Question: Can I trick BMS into displaying on one HD beamer the same as what is shown now on three HD monitors (yes, with less res) - I am only speaking about maintaining the zoom angle.
Thanks,

Thanks,
stingrayYes, just edit your FOV
But it may still look strange , fisheye effect etc…

Well If what I think you are trying to do is merge the 3 Screen effect into 1 projector Imust say no this will not work… If you want a triple screen effect you need 3 beamers as well…
If you want to use 1 beamer you can change the FOV to give you more FOV but it will not be as wide as the 3 screen setup…
