Weapons planner in campaign

I’m sure that there is a thread somewhere covering this but… I have been trying to use the weapons planner in the campaign but cant seem to find the “missions” to load into it. Am I missing something or is this just not possible? Thanks for the input.

Prepare and save a mission in BMS. Note the mission package number and call sign, then exit. Start WDP, invoke the correct theater, then invoke the File/Open Mission menu item. Now navigate in BMS/Data folder to the desired campaign folder. Tricky part: in the Open File window, make sure the file type in the lower right corner is set to .cam and not .tac or .trn, for example. After selecting the desired .cam file, windows should automatically appear to prompt you to the desired mission.
