Quest 3 crash on Commit with Link Cable
-
Hi everyone. I just reinstalled BMS now that it has VR Support. I use the Q3 with the Link Cable (haven’t had good luck with VD). Anyways, I get into the game in VR, and as soon as I press commit (for IA) or takeoff, it crashes getting into the 3d world., Has anyone else seen this issue or have any ideas for a fix?

If you have OpenXR Toolkit installed, disable it for BMS.

I have the same problem. Toolkit disabled using quest link in v72. Everything is fine till reaching 3D, when BMS go to desktop.
With VD everything is running well. -
I use link cable with the quest 3, things are normal. Recommend using default settings (nothing fancy) on resolution and see if that helps.

Change your VRResolution setting to 1.0 in your config file and see what happens.

Indeed work around with meta quest link and antialiasing more than 1 sample is to leave set g_fVRResolution 1.0 in .cfg and perform supersampling using “oculus debug tool” or “oculus tray tool”.
I tested this afternoon setting 1.4 PD in OTT with 4 samples antialiasing using meta quest link at 72 Hz. Sim runs very well with a rtx 4090 with these settings and it looks very nice.
I can also run BMS with VD Godlike resolution and also runs smooth with better colors.
So problem fixed.
