Can not remove Pilot model using LALT+c+p What am I missing? The only way I can remove it is in Launcher and unchecking the box. I would like it where I can turn it on and off.

@kmaultsby probably a timing thing, the p comes pretty quick after the alt-c

So if I bind it to a button on my Throttle if works, but it does not work if I do it from the keyboard. I will figure something out.
              Thanks you all.

@kmaultsby do other functions using LAlt work? Is LAlt+C, P actually in your keyfile? Are you using a standard qwerty keyboard?

                If yes/yes/yes, it’s probably ‘PICNIC’. 😉

@kmaultsby If the otheer ALT-C like framerate or debug window don’t work then I suspect your windows has a binding for it that overrides.

@kmaultsby just to add some clarity

                    • it should work with either left- or right-alt, at least on US keyboard layout … (I think maybe DE or other keyboard layouts with an AltGr or similar modifier key, then it needs to be left-alt)

                    • there is no time sensitivity … or, if there is, I don’t know what the upper limit is. I just waited over 10 seconds between Alt+C and P and it worked

                    • for absolute clarity, the sequence is:

                      • press Alt
                      • press C
                      • release C
                      • release Alt
                      • (take a breath)
                      • press P
                      • release P

For narrowing down the problem … do any other, ordinary Alt-key commands work … eg. [alt+P] to cycle parking-brake … or [alt+B] to toggle the wheelbrakes hydraulic channel?

I had the same problem. It didn’t work with right or left alt. My default keyboard layout in Windows was set to English US, I changed it to my local layout (Polish) and it started to work with right alt. Might be useful if anyone else faces the same issue.

Then my next keyboard will be Polish for sure 😀 Not.
Maybe it was some low quality “cheapboard”. as Left ALT should be typical for all layouts, it should work anywhere.
