i cant figure out graphics

i just got the game yesterday and im already annoyed, i watched videos on this game and when i started it the graphics looked horrible, ive looked for mods and everything but nothing is working. if anyone knows how to make the game look good that would be lovely

I’m not sure if you know what BMS is. The BMS community is always a bit touchy when BMS is referred to as a game, tactical flight simulator goes down a bit better. We do not play. The next point is the perennial graphics issue. The roots of BMS are old. Very old. Graphical excellence is not yet to be expected. Which is essentially irrelevant for the BMS community, who want a tactical flight simulator of the F-16. Graphics are of secondary importance, as I said: it’s not a game. If you are interested in the best flight simulator for the F-16 on a Windows PC, you are interested in dynamic campaigns, like to read many 100-page manuals to understand a complex combat aircraft and then like to fly missions online in large COMAOs with other crazy virtual pilots… then BMS is just right for you.
Of course, you can fly BMS however you want, but it remains a challenging tactical simulator with not (yet) very nice graphics.

@Bloodhound161 i saw a youtuber named Sim Gaming Life and he has good graphics. also other people i saw say they dont have any mods but have graphics like DCS.

BMS graphics for now are about min 5 years late compared with DCS graphics… and terrain is about 12 years late…

. just for you to know, i think noeone understand how Sim Gaming Life is achieving those videos, he is using post editing techniques basically.

The real graphics in game are FAR from what you can see in Sim Gaming Life videos…

Use smart scaling that you can activate in the UI

you might want to try reading some manuals included in your installation

@Kye-Polehoyki there is a big update to the sim coming hopefully some point this year in the form of BMS 4.38. The graphics of 4.37 (what you have installed I would presume) can be considered functional rather than beautiful, but honestly it’s not why I fly BMS.

If you want to take a look at what BMS 4.38 can look like then check out this thread. And before you ask we don’t know when this update will be ready, but we’re sure it’ll be worth the wait!
