4.37.7 Audio - Betty has a stammer for Pull Up

Flew a few things on 4.37.7 yesterday, and have found that “Pull Up, Pull Up” has become “Pu Pu Pu Pu Pu Pu Pu Pu Pu Pull Up”.

Can reproduce at will. Have definitely encountered it in the Korea ground ops TE, and in a block 52+ on Israel theatre.

@rubbra seems fine to me … I know of no changes in this area

is it the same, via different audio paths? (headphones? usb? hdmi/dp audio to your monitor?)

@airtex2019 yes, same to my Vr headset and desktop speakers (though both are Nvidia attached devices). I’ll check with the onboard Realtek adapter.

Please show what’s the set g_sNonCompatibleChanges entry in your .cfg

@Tumbler31 In User.cfg nothing.

In Falcon BMS.cfg, which is untouched by me, and a clean install when .7 updater screwed up my install:

set g_sCompatibleChanges "all"                       // Dev Setting
set g_sNonCompatibleChanges "all"                    // Dev Setting

As I say, untouched by me.

That’s not unchanged, reset to default

@Tumbler31 that’s 100% unchanged from what is delivered by the 4.37.6 installer plus .7 patch. Literally a delete of the install directory and reinstall.

I installed the patch. It totally screwed my install. Complete un and reinstall. Was pretty annoyed.

Copyied user.cfg back. Rebound everything.

@Tumbler31 as I say in the post above - I have 100% not changed this, but will gladly test what you post above and report back. Seems a bit premature to mark it solved though!

yeah, maybe you should ask a dev what could be the fix

@Tumbler31 I’m sure you’re right re: it being fixed, but the bit that I don’t get is why my config file is not as you expected. I don’t even have a backup of it, only the user file, so couldn’t copy it back after the uninstall.
