Crash to desktop in 4.37.6 with multiple monitors
-
So I have another monitor hooked up and I’m doing something else on the other monitor while using monitor 1 to fly, if there’s any tiny vibration that makes monitor 2 disconnect for a split second or if it’s open and I were just to unplug monitor 2 BMS crashes to desktop. Why does this keep happening? It’s not even like the program is being used on monitor 2 so it doesn’t even really make sense… thanks in advance for any help

@bjjman94 this probably has to do with windows sending device connect, disconnect messages to apps, which in turn make Falcon reinitialize devices. This is not a very common case, and likely, bugged.
Please share DMPs.

@Seifer what are dmps? I actually found a band aid. I was using a vga to usb adapter bc very old monitor and the usb ports aren’t really made for that so the vibration causes them to fuck up. I started using vga to hdmi instead and even tho the picture doesn’t fully fit the screen as it should it won’t randomly disconnect from tiny vibrations bc the hdmi port is much more sturdy then the standard usb and the hdmi ports are actually made for display outputs like that. But I still would like to actually fix the issue. What exactly are DMPs?
