@fvelazdem any reason preventing use of the launcher? should take about 10 minutes to map the buttons and axes of a warthog

then it will survive BMS updates, and changes to OS device-order, and cover all the latest BMS features including F-15 support

What @airtex2019 said. I used to have a custom keyfile but the Launcher is much easier to use.

@airtex2019 do you know if the hat switch on the front of the throttle ( the one used by the index finger) still needs a couple lines of code to function?

chIme in with the others, I don’t see any need for a key file profile and using one that was made against an earlier version even worse as since 4.34 a bunch of callbacks have been added and changed.

We just went with another user over the Morphine proile just a weeks ago, there is nothing in there that in any kind or form gives you any advantage. Could all be bound with the launcher and not loosing all the advantages you get with the autohandling of key file such as ability to swap out and in devices without the need of any manual interaction, auto backups on changes and so on

I have the WH HOTAS and I used to to make a custom profile both for specific settings and for absence of throttle hat without a custom manipulation.
I’ve been using the Launcher for setup for the last 4 versions and it’s perfect including availability of every switch, knob and hat.

                    @airtex2019

I’m going to follow your advice and switch from Morphine to the Launcher.

I’m not very skilled with this kind of stuff, so I hope you don’t mind me asking a question: In my Morphine profile, I use the Paddle Switch as the Shift key. For example, DMS down with Shift becomes HSD range down, or MSL Step with Shift becomes AR door.

Could you tell me how I can set up the Paddle Switch as the Shift key in the Launcher?

                    Thanks in advance

you either assign it to either

                      1. Stick: Pinky Switch (DX Shift)
which than acts as a multifunction Button
                      • Short press Zomm on SOI such as TGP wide/narrow, FCR EXP, DBS/2, HSD
                      • Double press and Hold, HSD L-16 Zoom
                      • Press and Hold acts as modifier for shifted layer
                        or
                      1. Acts as as modifier button alone

                      once you have done that
on any callback if you press and hold the assigned shift button the Shifted slider gets activated and while holding it you press the button you want to assing the shifted funtion to
