      Hi,
I just updated to 4.37.7 after a while without running BMS and found out that, even with force feedback disabled, my unused (but still plugged) Xbox controller vibrates as the plane taxies and runs for take-off.
The (pretty) old version (4.37.3 or 4) I ran did not that at all.
Would anyone have a clue on how to stop it from vibrate without unplugging it (as it is not easily done due to my desk configuration) ?

      Thank you.

@Alban-Tinelli try renaming Falcon BMS 4.37/User/Config/Feedback.ini to another filename

@chihirobelmo could this be related to xinput?

@oakdesign Thank you for this quick answer but it did not make any difference.
            Any other idea ?

@Alban-Tinelli Are you using the Xbox controller with BMS?
as suggested by @chihirobelmo you can try to switch controller support of BMS from XInput to DirectInput by adding

              set g_bUseXInput 0

              to your User/Config/Falcon BMS User.cfg

                or could you try

                set g_bVibrateXInput 0

to disable vibration for xbox controller?

I like the controller to vibrate, I don’t have force feedback on the hotas, the sound of that rattling on the table seems quite immersive to me xD 🤷

@chihirobelmo @oakdesign @seifer Thank you all very much for your quick and good answers.
The “set g_bVibrateXInput 0” did the job.
                    Thanks again.

@Apolo27 Yes I suppose I would get used to like it too but unfortunately I can only “fly” at night, when the house is sleeping. I guess my sleepy wife in the next room would certainly not let me enough time to appreciate it. 😨

@Alban-Tinelli It’s better not to anger your wife… I can give you a couple of easy, practical and cheap options… 1° Buy a USB Hub with an on/off switch for the desired port, or 2° buy a controller on AliExpress compatible with Windows where you can deactivate the controller’s vibration from the controller itself… I have both options, 7 euros for the hub and 20 for the controller, and that controller works better on PC than the Xbox controller itself, wired, wireless, integrated lithium battery and bluetooth… I hope I’ve helped you, regards.

Edit…Sorry, I hadn’t seen the solution, even better… even cheaper.
