@chihirobelmo nope i have all hotas functions on unshifted layer, the shifted layer (in my incidence) is used for ICP funtions thus cant be this, like I stated this has occurred since the introduction of the L16 zoom function

Interesting – can you zip up your User/Config folder and share it to me? (dropbox or google-drive or mega.io etc)

And if you have this happen again… please do the following –

      • ensure set g_bLogInputFunctions 1 (this is the default)
      • use the [shift+T] chatbox to enter a phrase “frozen cursor” or similar … this will record a line in the xlog
      • try DMS-up – shifted, or not – to see if that unfreezes the cursor or not
      • share the xlog file from the flight

@chihirobelmo My DMS up is on a non-shifted layer.

@airtex2019 A little late to this, but I was just in a flight where the cursor was frozen and DMS up did manage to fix it.

Since 4.37.7 (went from U3 direct To U7) i have the FCR/TGP cursor drifting downwards.

I have to DMS up to stop it.

I checked the button in windows game controllers and it is fine. no drifting.

Maybe it is related to the problem described here.

                Hello
It’s already happened to me two or three times.
I have a quiet good memory of the last one because it was during a meeting between two squadrons: my F16 was armed only with fox3s and I didn’t have a TGP.
It doesn’t seem to have moved my cursor in the FCR in the 30 minutes of flight that preceded the discovery of the cursor blockage, just before what should have been an engagement. But I did move my cursor in the HSD and clicked on the PPTs I’d set as reference points. I also used the zoom in the HSD to improve my SA via the L16
I set my hotas using only BMS-Key-File-Editor.xls via the Keystrokes Editor sheet then T.A.R.G.E.T from Thrusmaster (my throttle is a thrustmaster viper tqs mission pack). No use of FalconBMS_Alternative_Launcher (vade retro satanas 🙂 )
The key assigned to TMS up is ‘f’, and this is not shifted in TARGET.

TMS up did not unlock anything.

                    No.

But I can remember if I used DMS up

                      @airtex2019

I found the video recording of my cockpit that day.
I can confirm that I didn’t move the radar cursor in the FCR until I noticed the blockage.
And, contrary to what I had written, I didn’t move the cursor in the HSD to switch from one PPT to another, but by entering their number in the DED via the ICP.
So the cursor could have been blocked right from the ramp.
All my other axes worked correctly.

Without changing any of my hotas settings (buttons or axes) and without exiting BMS, I launched a dogfight to see just after landing, and
                      my cursor axes worked.

Share the xlog file from that flight, if you have it

I removed -mono from my shortcut that day, unfortunately.

The event took place on 2025 03 27. And I have all the xlog file recordings of the flights of the days before and all those of the days after (I think), but none for 2025 03 27 and the 2025 03 28 (the mission started on the 27th and probably finished on the 28th.
