Balkans campaign CTDs when starting mission

Hi,
I am into 3rd day of Under Siege campaign. I have flown 20+ missions and now I cannot start any new mission as Falcon BMS CTDs in the moment I should be loaded into the aircraft.
My last missions was completed normally (I landed, exited the mission, checked debrief and exited the game).
I normally fly in VR, but the same happens without VR. I have tried launching different missions from different starting points (ramp, taxi, takeoff) but it will always CTD. I have loaded an older save for this campaign and it works fine but it’s 10+ missions behind.Is there anything I could do to recover this campaign?

First, be sure to preserve your latest Save Day. That’s the least you can do.
To diagnose…can you confirm the version? Is it Balkans 4.37.7 (1.07.7)??
And did you modify it with Mission Commander at all??

@bednar what airbase are you flying out of? Would you send you campaign files please?

@bednar check here, seems to me there is an squadron without airbase. Code is not prepared for that.
Is there any dev here who can confirm we have such situations (aircraft spawning from squadrons not associated with airbases)?

Confirmed, this also happens in Korea.
@MaxWaldorf can you confirm we have squadrons without airbases or flights with squadrons set as airbase on purpose? I’ll try to track these in code.

confirmed. We have flights landing waypoints assigned to squadrons and task forces. This corrupts memory in at least 8 places. I’ll fix code.

@JollyFE I am running 4.37 (1.07.6) I installed this couple of weeks ago. And I didn’t modify anything, just started new campaign and was playing it for the last weeks.

@Seifer how can I check for a squadron without an airbase assigned? I clicked through the options in 2D but I can only see things related to my squadron.

I think I can, I can backup existing exe and replace it with fixed version and try to start a mission in my existing campaign.

Looks like you are running BMS 4.37.7. (???)
Balkans version 1.07.6 is an older version and not meant to run with …37.7.

Guys this bug is real, regardless of version. There are some situations where flights from squadrons offmap will cause CTD due to bad type casting. The DMP from the OP is very clear.
