F16 AM weapons

Hi. Just got back to BMS after some years off.
I completed a Balkans Campaign with the C model, and started a new one with the AM model.
I see that a lot of the weapons are “out” and a lot is not optional with the AM model. Will the weapons “out” mostly be avaiable later in the campaign?
What is your opinion, has the AM model any benefits in the sim Compared to C?

You can at least replenish your weapon stocks in campaign using mission commander.
