CH Multi Function Panel

Hi all,
by accident, I came across the opportunity to buy a MFP for 80 Euro (+shipping). Lucky me I guess as I saw prices of USD 200 and more around.

Any of you guys use it? Thoughts? Tips/tricks?

At times I’m stuck in conference calls and wonder around.
Over the weeks, managed to create 2 “backgrounds”, simple ideas, for these MFP’s.
Obviously at it’s first stage and will give it a go, time allowing.
Though figured to post it here and whoever wants to have the excel file where it’s easier to move some stuff around, send a PM.

Where did you buy the MFP? I have been trying to buy one in Australia with no luck. I contacted CH and they told me they are no longer for sale to the public only their military partners.

Very few for sale nowadays. I bielieve you can still find some on ebay and amazon. Prices around USD200.
Will share my latest mfp setup later. Use it each time I fly.

Does anyone know if you can use Ergodex keys on CH Products boards?

DX-1 Keysets only work on the DX-1, MFP keysets only work on the MFP.

When I used this MFD panel, I created the ICP, key for key, and found it most useful. I was able to press the buttons with my left hand while keeping my right hand on the joystick. If I recall, I simply enlarged a copy of the PDF and used that for the paper format.

Today I have one MFP (see the attachment CH MFP v8 ).

I have bought a second one that I will pick up in a couple of weeks during my trip to the States and am planning one Left and one Right (other attachments).

For the ICP, I am using the Logitech G13, which is working out fine.

Also have the Saitek Switch panel for some of the other functions.

This, together with my Warthog, I’m all set without having to use the keyboard at all.

I have four MFP’s. One for ICP, two for left panels and one for right panel. If you have more than one, make sure they are at least 4-5 inches apart or they will randomly set off the switches in your cockpit if they are too close together.

if not mistaken, you can only have 8 dx devices if/when you use shift-layers, that’s why I can’t have more for now.

Warthog taking up 2 (however, with Morphine’s profile, it’s considered as one, though with shift states).

Mind sharing your layovers of the MFP’s (or close-up pictures)? I’ve been tweaking, retweaking and tweaking again mine over and over (1 panel with shift layers too).

I have 10 DX devices for BMS and use shift layers on the Cougar no problems.
