      Hi I new at Falcon BMS 4.32 . I Starting to learn the simulator. Most of the times after a few minutes the FPS drop down. I try optimize the graphic setting, but it is not the problem. The Memory of the Falcon process, going from 400,000KB to up 800,000KB and more. I have 2 GB RAM . The Falcon work great at the begining but after a few minutes the FPS drop.
      What can I do?

        upgrade your hardware probably.

        first post your full system hardware and software specs.
        2gb of ram are low.

        fps drops cause after a few minutes when u get closer to FLOT front line of troops loads units and objects and all hell so Falcon shows it’s teeth to your system and cause your system is scared it drops fps.

            you definitely need more ram and take a look at my hot list. there are some links to posts and guides how to boost your pc. Gamebooster is a good start.

              I noticed occasionally (rarely) that i get a drop in fps when doing say a banking turn. Its rare but i’m a newbie and so far i’ve only delved into the basic handling TE as im still in the process of sorting another problem out, plus i’m waiting for my Delan Clip to be delivered for head tracking (Track IR).

              My specs should easily handle this game:
              AMD 8320 8 core processor 3.50 GHZ
              8 GB RAM
              Nvidia GTX 650 graphics
              Windows 7 64 bit.

              So should i be fine with this system running the game on max graphics settings?

                  @shaked465:

                  Intel® Core™2 Duo CPU E8400 @ 3.00GHz

                  Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate Edition Service Pack 1 (build 7601), 64-bit

                  A few things here starting from the top:

                  The Geforce 9400 GT is extremely overwhelmed by what you are throwing in it’s direction. The card was released in 2008 as an entry-level graphics solution. In fact, its sheer performance is equivalent to high-end cards in 2005 and 2006 (7800 GTX/GT), so it’s really dated. I have attached a chart showing the performance of the 9400 GT vs the very old 7800GT vs a new mid range Geforce 750 GTX (well under $100).

                  The E8400 is also dated, but I doubt it is holding you back like the graphics card.

                  @Arty:

                  you definitely need more ram …

                  As Arty has already pointed out, 2 GB is on the very low end for Windows 7 /64. Going to 4GB will help your overall system performance, and probably very noticeably so, but it wont overcome the graphics cards short comings.

                  "]

                    If you get low frame rates, I would eyeball the 650, it may not be up to par……

                    And yeah, what screen resolution?

                      To be fair i mean the cockpit looks nice, other than that the rest of the graphics look similar to that of the original Falcon 4. When you flying a few thousand feet off the ground (worse when lower) the graphics of the terrain looks its age- from 1998. Also the vehicles and buildings, and the cities are flat. So just makes me wonder how a fairly modern graphics card and the system as a whole that i have sometimes lags in game.

                      Still a great sim though obviously…but i cant be thinking my graphics card isnt up to it when it can run games like Arma 3 with no probs.
