Unable to Flash Cougar HOTAS??

Hi all,’

I recently updated to windows 10 and been having some issues with my Cougar… I was able to get CCP and Foxy Working just TARGET was being problematic…

I got to the point whenre I am trying to Reflash the firmware but it will NOT flash… I have tried all I can think of and googled tons of post nothing is working… I think I may have fried my Stick or something??

I was wondering if anybody else is using Win10 with Target successfully with a Cougar…??

Cant you flash it with the CCP instead?

NO CCP is not able to do anything… I am really thinking the stick is dead… here are a few things I have tried…:

1. Clear the sticks head with Foxy Commands all of them nothing worked…
2. Update Firmware through foxy .
3. Hold Button down for 5 seconds when plugged in to reset that did nothing…

I found a thread by Nutty and followed his Procedure to reset Cougar but the stick gets errors or does nothing…

I was wondering if the firmware is not loaded will the axes work or the buttons in the CCP Viewer??

EDIT: This seems to be a problem with Win10… I am unable to flash with win 10 but in win 7 it worked fine crap…

Well I don’t have a hub, but I don’t think that is it either because I was able to flash it on my Win 7 machine… I was able to flsash it on this machine before Win10

Why do you want to flash it?

maybe a solution for win10 and flashing the cougar… In case u don’t know there is a dvd laying around in the net called Hirens boot cd or dvd. this has an xp boot… from there u can install and use software. maybe this would work for flashing your cougar.
