Setup campaign with USA and Europe aircrafts?

I started the new campaign with European squadrons and aircrafts because i like the possibility of having a more variety of air units. And i would like to know if its possible that i can setup a campaign using both Europe and USA aircrafts, and select which aircrafts/squadron go to each airbase, so i can have even more variety of units in the air?
Just in case, i’m reading the manuals, but they are big and for now i’m foccusing on learning the new weapons and changes on avionics.
I have mission commander installed, but didn’t have the time yet to use it and see if it allow me to do what i want.

Mission commander will absolutely let you do what you want. You can either add squadrons of Euro aircraft to airbases or replace existing squadrons or any combination of the two
