Flew my first campain mission and didn't die!

Even shot 2 Mig 21 !
Wingman was shot down.
A bit bumpy landing, made the stupid mistake to overcompensate at the very last seconds of landing.
Tower was bitching “Go around” … don’t think so.

Congrats! I always used to run out of fuel. Getting back to home plate was always a relief. I’m a bit better at fuel management now though! Haha

I don’t recall my first mission in F4, it was 17 years ago! Though I bet it ended in flames

I started with Flanker 1.0. I think 1.1 brought online flying. We met up on IRC (Flankers Officers Club) and eventually decided to do a LAN meeting. These became annual events. Some time later Falcon 4 came. Since then I was hooked. But time goes on. Wife and kids you know… Less time to fly. Kids are a bit older now and lately decided to give it a try again. Slowly my wife is turning in a “Falcon Widow”
