My update to Win 10, moved the USB identity of my warthog joystick, but did not affect the throttle, MFDs, trackIR, or warthog throttle. A simple removal of the warthog driver and reinstall fixed the location and put it back in the proper place. Windows 10 uses the same USB management as windows 8, but changes from 7. At this point try your warthog in a game outside of the target GUI, and see if it functions fine. Mine worked great at this point except when loading profiles. When loading a target profile, windows would shut down one or more of the devices and cause the profile to stop loading.
IF you cannot load profiles you will need to edit your registry to force energy management off. I have another thread on here that lists the steps to fix this. Read post 5 here https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?22626-windows-10-and-thrustmaster-GUI good luck!

The only error that I am getting is that The HOTAS Cougar is unavailable (in the Settings / Apps & Features section). When I reboot… then it stucks in the Windows Logo screen… The only solution is to unplug the USB from its sockets and then uninstall the HOTAS Cougar drver…
Right now, I have my cougar drivers uninstalled and I just have connect the stick to the USB socket. At the device manager section, and under the Universal Serial Bus controllers, I can see both of the TM HOTAS Cougar entries (IN & OUT) are there and the devices are working properly. I reinstalled the drivers (2007_HCO_VISTA_64_RC1.exe), but I cannot start the CCP, because the STTubeDevice203.dll is missing. I am asked to reinstalled the progmam and I have done this 5 or 6 times so far… with no luck…
            I reallly dont know what’s going on…

            @ Turkeydriver
You are talking about Warthog, and I am a Cougar owner… Is there any differentiation at the procedure, due to the different sticks/throttles?

Reinstall the Cougar drivers, then go to you C:\Program Files (x86)\HOTAS\drivers folder and you will find the STTubeDevice203.dll file. copy it and paste it in the C:\Windows\System; C:\Windows\System32; and C:\Windows\SysWOW64 folder. Then you should be able to run the Cougar Control Panel.

I missed that, my Cougar was stolen, which is why I use a Warthog now, good luck, I hope everything turns out.

Win 10 has a feature to go back to the previous system within 30 days. I tried it with a preview - worked like a charm.

Hi I had upgraded to Win 10 and had a problem where I could NOT flash the Firmware on the Cougar… I did put that dll in the syswow64 folder but not in the system 32 folder could that be the reason I was unable to Flash the Cougar??

maybe a solution for win10 and flashing the cougar… In case u don’t know there is a dvd laying around in the net called Hirens boot cd or dvd. this has an xp boot… from there u can install and use software. maybe this would work for flashing your cougar.
