Hello,
For those who understand French, a document explaining score/ranks.
Thank you to the author (I don’t know who is)Transalation of the French Book! Thanks!
DEGREES AND MEDALS IN FALCON
4.0 ALLIED FORCE
How to acquire a higher grade:
In each mission, you win or lose a certain number of points that come in addition to points already acquired in previous missions. When the total of these point exceeds a certain threshold, you pass to the next grade. This is how points are calculated at the end of each mission:
Driver status:
OK - 5
Rescued - 5
MIA -15
KIA -25
FRIENDLY-KILL -200Device status:
DAMAGED -5
OK - 5
DESTROYED -50For each missile or bomb dropped: -1
For each gunnery: -0.2
For each impact target of a bomb or missile: 4
For each cannon shot that impacts a target: 4
For each cannon shot that misses its target: -0.2
For every bomb or missile that has no impact on target: -6And here are the totals by grade points needed to achieve:
150 points = 1st Lieutenant
300 points = Captain
800 pts + 1 = Major campaign is over
1600 pts + 1 campaign has not been lost (or gained zero) = Lt. Col.
3200 pts + 1 = campaign won ColonelHow to acquire new medals:
After each mission, the code calculates your total acquisition related possibility of a new grade, then the code is run on medals.
First factor: Mission Complexity. This factor is based on the flight, the fired ammunition, the number of missiles fired at you by the enemy, and the number
devices in your package. A value between 0 and 6 is derived.Second factor: Campaign Difficulty. This factor is based on the Ground Campaign Ratio, the ratio Campaign Air Force, the Air Defense Ratio Campaign, the Campaign
Naval Force Ratio, the Enemy Skill Pilot, and the Enemy ADA skill. That is to say Difficulty setting of the campaign, in short. A value between 0 and 20 is derived.Other factors that are considered are:
Main target destroyed
Aircraft landed
Wingers lost
Naval units destroyed
Destroyed objects
Ground units destroyedFor every coin, so you should have acquired x mission points, points x medal, and satisfy a certain level of realism (the value “realism” in the
Falcon setup).Points depend on the mission Mission Complexity: 0 to 6.
Points depend on the campaign Campaign Difficuty: between 0 and 20.Medal points are calculated by multiplying the level of realism by Difficulty Campaign, the Mission Score (between 1 and 5), and Mission Complexity.
This is what is required for each coin:
AIR FORCE CROSS: 9600 medal point, realism level of 90 or more. 4 points or mission more.
SILVER STAR: 7800 medal points, level 70 or more realism. Mission 4 points or more.
DISTINGUISHED FLYING CROSS: 6000 medal points, level 50 or greater realism. Mission 4 points or more.
AIR MEDAL: 4800 medal points, level 50 or greater realism. Mission 4 points or more. -
Ok, is there a program out there to find out what my current score is?
In AF there was… -
Total Score, Last Mission Points are shown in your logbook in BMS.
Unfortunatly you can see everything except those two and consecutive missions flown from others in MP.
You will see your own instead, its a BUG.Hope someone addresses this for the next release.

I just had 47 consecutive missions get wiped out for no reason……weird.
-
I falls back to 0 if you get killed.
If you have 100 mission in a row (survived), you get one consecutive medal. (longlivity) -

Your consecutive can get wiped out if you don’t bring your jet back to home plate, get killed or MIA. If you eject make sure you call re-cap (“Q-9” I think to send in the choppers) to get RS instead of MIA.

Oh no the consec mission bug is still alive. I got that for no reason. I landed my jet and got success and poof a random death. Sometimes it was an online death in SP.
The only way I could get the consec medal was to back up my logbook and replace it when that happened. In F4 and AF you got stuck with a random death every 30- 40 or so missions. I thought it was something to do with wingy suicides. Not sure. I know people who have got the medal without backup swap though in BMS. Maybe its not cured but much less. I have problems getting credit or getting debriefs with BMS online.

I think not. Landing alternative will not wipe it out, at least i have never seen this happening.
But if you dont bring it back to homebase, it wont give you a concsecutive point, that i can confirm. What is wierd on my end is, that regardless how many humans i kill or how many time i get killed, it doesnt
show under CAMPAING online 0/0 (kill/death) …always stays 0/0 … not dogfight online -
I did land at a alt base, weird bug here, guess I have to start all over.

Ya, It happens to me as well. I have tested and had the same results. Just make sure you take the jet back home. I hope they fix this.

I had my consecutive reset two times after I successfully landed my damaged aircraft. I was hit by FLAK and I had both times FLCS failures, but I managed to land the plane without scratch, my consecutive got reset and it recorded online death for me. Very strange….

Its a bug that has been there since original Falcon 4.0 and was not even fixed in AF.
-
It didn’t record a death for me, just reset the consecutive missions, it’s fixed now.
-
How did you fix it?

That’s Strange to get a death. Landing your jet at alt field and backing out of the game will reset your consecutive points.
If your damaged and forced to land at an alt field. Once you have landed eject and call in the choppers. That way your consecutive point will not reset. It’s unrealistic but if you can manage to take the damaged jet back home “just do it”. -

Lucky you. I can’t use Log book editor with window 7 64 bit.
