I see there is a check box to enable this in the advance controller setup but it will not allow me to check it. I am trying to setup a CH HOTAS stick/throttle/pedals using Kolbe DX setup but axis need some adjusting, especially the pedals. Any advice would be great…thanks.

Adjust the saturation in the BMS setup, or alternatively use the CH profiler software.

Alternatively, dont do it at all. The default the profiler software uses should be linear, which will map onto the BMS ones (which you can find in the manual) which in turn are the same as on current block F-16s.

As said by the BMS devs before, set ALL your controllers up to have linear input. Then in controls page, set Saturation and deadzone Zero.

The F-16 computer controls your inputs, you tell ‘George’ what you want (using your stick), and then ‘George’ will move the jet that way (if it is safe to do so, the f-16 has relaxed static stability).
The real flight control computer code is coded exactly in here, and you have the NASA wind tunnel model of the F-16 for the flight model.

Messing with your curves will mess up what ‘George’ the computer will leave you with.

You can read more about it here https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/content.php?167-Flight-Model-%28FM%29-Developer-s-Notes-Part-7

Thanks guys, turning the saturation and deadzone to zero did the trick! Since you guys know you stuff…I got one more for you. The POV on my throttle is not working with in BMS I used Kolbe BMS-DX-Generator 1_6 with great success except for 2 POV, the 1 POV on stick works fine. When I setup my controller in the advance menu of BMS should I select keyboard, stick, throttle, pedals? This may not have anything to do with it but was just thinking about it.

Ive not used CH stuff so its just a guess, but maybe BMS doesnt like having two different POV hats?

Can the CH software program them to be regular DX buttons instead?

Checking that box requires that axisshaping.dat exists and can be read. (It’s in user/config). There existed maybe an external program to create and edit axisshaping.dat but I’ve never seen it despite looking.
