ILS beacon markers working correctly?
-
My crash course to a BMS Masters continues…I was wondering if the ILS beacon markers are porked. I am not hearing them, I am getting the HUD localize and glide scope symbology on the HUD as well as hitting <ctrl w=“”>for ILS audio but still am not hearing the indicators.</ctrl>

Seem to work fine to me. The obvious things to check would be ILS volume up, and correctly over the markers on your glidepath.

Where do you land?
IIRC bases near water (like kunsan) do not have (obviously) the marker. -
indeed, look at Kunsan ILS charts
-
That would be where I was practicing ILS landings. 36 Kunsan at frequency 110.30. What would near water have to do with it?

Cant place these https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marker_beacon#/media/File:Middle-marker-ont.jpg easily. Maybe some airports have stable enough ones anchored to the sea floor, but in bad weather the waves might mess with it so probably thats why none on Kunsan.

On the chart there is a note that states 360 has no inner and outer markers…well there you go.
