      Hi Friends,
I´ve encountered a new Problem which I cant solve myself:
I got a new PC - all new Parts - with Windows 10 Home installed.
Getting in Falcon, I can talk on IVC with all flying Pilots but I dont hear them…
Pressing F1/F2 they can hear me, but I dont get them…
I wonder if somebody can give me an advice how I can get that solved ;-))
      Greatings and thanks in advance
      Moonlight

Thanks Archer, I checked that before…
Since I could not delete the onbordsound (I got a extra soundcard),
I called MSI (My MB is “MSI Z170A Gaming Pro” and I start hating it !!). They told me, that they also encountered that Problem and
they put out a new BIOS (Number 3 since 2 weeks !!). I loaded that new BIOS and I will check that IVC-Problem as soon as I get somebody
            online.
I let you know the result !!

You can also disable the On board sound card through the BIOS. If all else fails come and see me in the Team Speak and i will try to trouble shoot this issue with you.

                  Or try the following,

Go to ‘Device Manger’ > ‘Sound, Video and Game Controllers’ right click on the device you want to disable and select ‘Disable’

                    Hi Friends,
at first a big thank you for trying to help !!
The problem is not solved, but at least I know where it comes from !!
After I contacted “Dunc” -I think you have heared of him - and he toled me, that the software of my “Creative Audigy 5RX” is probably
not ready for Windows 10, I went back to the onbord sound (MSI Z170A Gaming Pro) and here I had no Problems any more…
But … I hate that sound … I would like to have my Soundcard working again…
So, if I find a solution - or if somebody of you have a solution - I will let you know the result !!
                    Thanks again
                    Moonlight

I had a creative audigy ex long time ago, very expensive. For years now I gave it to my friend and all my time consuming pointless search for solution is gone and I enjoy BMS.

Hope your search will end soon.

As i saw in the specifications of the MB of yours it uses realtek chipset for sound. The same one that mine uses, i would say i dont have any real problems with it and the sound is perfect! Try to disable through control panel-Sound options all the enhancements and change the sound format to the highest you can get ,for example mine is set to 24bit 192.000hz and tell us the results.

The only drivers that worked for me under 64bit where some manually model by a guy after searching for a solution for loooooong. But they worked only for a while. After a system update all got fubared again.

I too had an Audigy ZS in my system for a few years in order to offload stuff to the CPU, but for the last couple of gaming rigs I’ve been happy with the onboard sound (currently Asus I think). I’m using a USB headset and / or external speakers, depending on the application (still on win7).

                              Cheers, Uwe

                                @Manos 1981:
Onbord sound is working … but it is working either on headphone or on outside (on the wall) speakers.
But I would like to have the sound at both at the same time… Could you tell me how to fix that !??
I tried every button at the Manager…

Not the best idea unless the source was actually encoded @ 192khz. If not it’s upscaling the output from 44.1khz to 192khz. Sort of like displaying 1024x768 @ 1920x1080 on a display. 24bit 48khz is sufficient for analog output, you can use 24/96khz on a compatible receiver via optical / spdif output.

Disable front panel jack detection in the Realtek control panel. This will mirror the outputs for both headphones and line out.

You can also toggle the audio codec/type in the BIOS from HD Audio to AC97 to get 2 independent audio streams simultaneously. This may or may not be possible depending on your exact audio IC.

I did not answer to your Ideas, because I was trying your suggestions…
It looks like, my MB “MSI Z170A Gaming Pro” is not set for it… I disabled front panel jack detection in the Realtek control panel
and tried to get the headphone and the Speakers to work at the same time by
connecting them on the rear output… No success, either Headphone or Speakers will work, but not simultaniously…
@Manos or ASharpe: Did you get it working ?

But the most important thing is, to get the Creative Audigy 5RX working with IVC in Falcon (look to my first msg).
After I spend almost 2 days on that problem, I will quit now, enjoy the summer and wait on a new Driver.
But if somebody of the Community has an idea how to solve that IVC problem, I would be more than happy if he/she
                                          could give me a hint…
May be a PM is the best way to get in contact with me…

And here is the news :
Everything is solved !! What I did is the following :
I cleared the PC from all old Driver of the Creative Audigy 5RX, and than installed the new Driver from Creative, which
is supporting Win-10. And everything worked fine !!
I asked MSI about the Problem of the onbord sound (I could only listen to Headphone or to speakers at the wall).
There answer was, that there is no possibilty to have both at the same time active !!
I am happy with the Audigy now, the sound is 1st class !!
Thank you for trying to help !!
And Greatings to all your Falconeers in the world !!
