        Not KOTAR, I think.

KOTAR is also known as Pilsung range and it is at 37.078210, 128.872959.

This live fire exercise reportedly took place at ‘Seungjin Training Field’ which, according to reports, is about 15 miles from the DMZ in in Pocheon province. No where near KOTAR and not ‘familiar’ to BMS at all as far as I know.

It’s a cool video, but it’s not KOTAR.

        Edit:

The range in this video is more likely to be somewhere in the mountainous area near Pocheon (37.895409, 127.201145) and TDC (37.904945, 127.060527). TDC houses main elements of the 2nd Infantry Division at Camp Casey (37.920539, 127.084862) and Camp Hovey (37.901890, 127.082769)

Kick ass video! Would be awesome to have the different coloured smoke in BMS.

            Found it (pretty sure).

The South Korean Live Fire exercise took place at Rodriguez Live Fire Complex (Thanks for the tip on that Demo). Check the news reports on location, check the video, then check this:

            38.032527, 127.218533

              Hi Guys,

I love the BMS KOTAR but I have a question.
I noticed that the real KOTAR range runs NE to SW. The BMS KOTAR runs N to S. Is there a reason for this?

              Thanks

                Simulation compromises. As always
Aligning the BMS Kotar with the real NE/SW would have created flight safety issues with run in or CSEM smack into BMS terrain mountains

As in real life these things must be adapted for terrain.

                Red Dog
Reality if for ppl who can't handle simulation

Good find, Agave_Blue. But honestly I didn’t care, actually I was almost sure there was no Kotar in the video. Just made a good title, otherwise looked Korea anyway 😄

Looks like an extended version of the original video.
