Can you use any playable plane in BMS while on certain servers?

Hi! I’m new to Falcon BMS, but I am an avid DCS player. I was wondering if BMS had the system as DCS, in which before you spawn in a multiplayer game, you can choose your aircraft. (F-18, F-14, F-16, Mirage 2000D, A-10A, and F-15C) Thanks! -Blitz Orange

Yes. You select a flight or a squadron with the AC type you want and grab a seat (assuming the multi-player host hasn’t locked human control out of the alternate AC types).

However, BMS is an F-16 simulator and you should not expect other AC types to be as well modeled or refined as the F-16. Further all avionics are based on the F-16 avionics due to (afaik) code limitations.

Thanks for the quick reply! So (for example) does the Mirage 2000D have the same turn speed and top speed as the F-16?

I’m not clear on which AC have some (or any) modification to their flight models and/or cockpit models. I’m not sure which (if any) have some more accurate flight modeling done and which are ‘database hacks’ (no offense to anyone who customized flight model values). I believe the Mirage may be one airframe that has some more advanced flight modeling included.

I would guess that any AC may fly differently than the F-16, even using F-16 flight model values as base, due to changes in weight, wing, etc.

Mirages series have accurate flight model and dedicated click able 3d cockpits.

Mirage 2000 is the best simulated AC after the f16
