      Hello,

I was wondering if there is any “easy” way to implement a HMCS for the F-15C? I was checking it out, has a nice cockpit and everything, but no HMCS… and since F-15C these days do have it, was wondering if it can be brought into BMS?

      Thanks.

HMD is a flag on the DB, you can activate it on any aircraft if you so wish. however, there is not switch on the cockpit to support it, so You’ll need to make sure you have some keys programmed for that.

Thanks for the hint! It worked.

Also… I noticed today it was in one of the manuals, page 100…

            @smg13:

Cool! What tool I use to open the DB? F4Browse?

Yes. Go to the Vehicle>Aircraft tab. Go up top to View>Details. Click on the Name tab to alphabetize the list.

Go to the aircraft you wish to add HMS, double click on it, the Vehicle Data Details box will appear.

In the Basic Data box is a Flags button, click on it once and the Vehicle Flags box will appear.

Click into the Has HMS box so a check mark appears in the box.

Click Ok, once back in the Vehicle Data Details box, click on the Recalculate button between the Stats and Damage boxes , then up top, right hand, click on the Update button.

            And your done.

Just in case, backup your objects folder prior to modifying in case something goes wrong.

            Good Luck,

            C9

Thanks a lot Cloud 9. Much appreciated.

One questions, why do I need to press Recalculate?

Because, anytime you mess with a DB entry it needs to be recalculated.

Never done recalculate. Didn’t notice any problems.
                  Are you sure?

Ok… silly question… and I know I will get flack for asking it: I remember seeing the has HMS flag for planes in Freefalcon 6… how come there is no HMS actually in the cockpit and in BMS we have? I am wondering from a learning point of view; I like to learn new things.
