Vietnam Theater

Has there been any thoughts on a hypothetical Vietnam Theater? Basically a replay of Vietnam war, but with modern equipment. Vietnam starts off with obsolete equipment with some mig 29 or su30s. Then later Chinese joins war.

I think, several years ago back when Qawa was still active here, I mentioned getting a group together to do Vietnam. It never amounted to anything.
If a group of people were dedicated to it, anything is possible. However, in the big scheme of things, I think there are more relevant areas that are still begging to be done, eg. Nevada and Europe to name but two.

If you want modern jets flying over nam terrain, try google earth.
It will give you the right feeling over there. We have tried making nam theater for falcon in past 10 more years, no go.
Reasons are no proper obj network and no working campaigns…I did a lot of tweaking in pmc nam years ago, just failed to crack it. -
