      Good day guys 🙂

I have a question, I’m currently not at home but I have a bug to report. My altimeter QNH ist white. It looks like: 29, White Box, White Box. Is there any hotfix for this? Pictures will follow once I’m home. I belive it’s a problem with shaders. I activated Shaders but unchecked every box within the shaders sub menu. Might be something with rendering. Is there any wartime fix this? I know that it disappears once I turn on the Cockpit lights.

      Any help?

1/ Why are you so persuaded of a problem with shaders ? The only problem with shaders I can think of is a messed up sun reflection.

2/ Is it on a clean install ?

        3/ Is it reproducible ?

If yes to 2/ and 3/, it sounds like a messed-up cockpit texture to me. Try to reinstall and report back.

My install is new and this happend on my old PC as well. And when I turn on Rendering (in the shader sub menu) I can see the QNH fine without white squares. The only problem is that my FPS are too low with rendering on.

That is quite a weird problem….

What GPU do you have ? Both on your old PC and new ? Drivers up to date ? (shouldnt make a difference, but still).

This probably wont change anything, but I’m also curious to see what happens if you deactivate the option “Use Hg for altimeter” in “General settings” in the configuration tool.

              CG = Graphics Card ?

I figured from the context it probably wasn’t Center of Gravity 😛

                      Hum…

I’m quite out of ideas actually, since its a quite odd problem that nobody else experienced. There is always the possibility of a faulty download of the installer that would mess up the cockpit texture, but I dont think it is likely though.

Maybe another team member has more insight than me 😞

                        Okay, maybe that will help.

                        Settings:

Normal with sun (Dogfight, Furbal, 12:00):

                        With Cockpitlights on:

                        Without lights, other angle:

As I said, if I activate Shader rendering and post processing it will work properly, but my FPS will go down.
