Asp, we’ll be dead before we ever grow up
Nailer, if you’re gonna host you’ll have to have it available 7 days a week and take saves every 12 hours if not more. Are you up to the task?

Not worthy Shad. Maybe stick to youtube?
Okay Gentlemen… Here’s what Shad and I expereinced from a flight we took today:
Target… 2x JangWei’s at Nampo
Jets… 2x F18C’s ( Thanks to the Spanish Airforce )
Loadout… 2x JSOW’s, 1x AGM88, 5x long sticks, 2 short, centreline
Total Flight distance… 400 miles round trip ( Turned out to be more like 600! )
Homeplate… KunsanHeading North feet wet we were about 30 to Ongjin when we were met by four groups of bandits… 3x two ships of 21’s and a pair of 23’s. Shad was lead by 5 miles and we were CATIII with a full loadout and 12.0 fuel. Two Fox 1’s from Shad two mig21’s in flames. Fox 1 from Coco and one of the 23’s goes down. Now the other two 21’s and the 23 turn on me and archer inbound. I drop from 25,000 to 14,000 flare flare flare… full burn and heading South I can’t seem to go fast enough! I look over my shoulder and see a 21 sitting about 1/4 mile behind me. Shad see’s I’m running and so I start turning back North full burn 5g turn to get this 21 into Shad’s missile range. Fox1 and BOOM… the 21 is on fire… “Thanks Buddy!” But no time for pats on the back… the other 21 and the 23 are right there with us, danger close.
I see the other 21 on my nose and closure has got to be 800+… Boresight 9x away at maybe 300 yards… the missile goes off the rail and right over the 21’s canopy, very aerodynamic those fishbeds must be! Shad slices in and dispatches the 21 with guns. After that 9x misses I decide to push north… again. But then the 23 shows up right under my nose at 8 miles and angels 5. Fox1 and he goes down, no chute. Closing in on the South coast for the second time with 5000lbs and 70 miles to target, we’re starting to think this might be an Aborted mission. Just as we go feet dry over bandit territory another wave of Migs jump off the deck. We get sucked into a turning fight as they are less than five miles from us. I mange to take out 2 more 23’s and Shad dispatches another two 21’s. With a big breath and the adrenalin pumping… I’m heading home. Bingo Bingo!
Shit… 1,000 lbs with a full compliment of ground weapons I call AWACs… “Vector to nearest Alternate… 1-1-0 for 80 miles” You’ve got to be kidding?! Hey Shad, I’m not going to make it to alternate, forget homeplate. “ummmm, you know you can land at Ongjin and refuel”… You’ve got to be kidding? That’s a DPRK base! “Well we smashed it last week and it may not be fully operational but there shouldn’t be any ground troops there…I think.” Okay, I don’t have a choice, it’s either RED fuel or I’ll be swimming back to Kunsan! As I decend I strain to look out over the nose to see if there are any enemy troops. Looks good, Shad’s right. I touch down on the edge of the runway scared… not sure if the last OCA strike left a few holes in the runway and here comes Shad gliding in too at 130kts and 12.5 AOA right on the numbers and down the middle of the runway! I thought you said you guys hit this base last week? “We did, I just can’t remember if it was the runway or the 90+ vehicles we hit!” I taxi off and come to a stop. Brake on… “Request HOT refuel” Woah, Shad… did you see something yellow zing bye? “Yeah, they’re shooting at you from behind that building!” Off comes the parking brake and I start taxing about 50 miles an hour to other end of the runway trying to take cover from the bullets. As I look out the canopy I can see two AK47’s running across the airbase and shooting at me trying to get a better line of sight… and these guys are like almost a mile away. I screech to a stop… Come on refuel, come on!!! 5000, 6000, 8000, 9000, 10000, come on pump faster you bastard RED refueler! 13 seven! GO GO GO… Shad pulls out in front of me fully topped up, we go full thrust, 160 nose up, gear up climb climb climb! Shad decides to abandon heading North and turns in on the local naval port. Two JSOWS away and with 2 mig 21’s bearing down on him he says, “Coco you go on to target, I’ll take care of this!” Shad, SA2 spike direct east, be careful! I fly direct Steer 4 40 miles out and I can see Shad disappearing off to the North East like a fearless warrior.
35 to target I light up the weapons page and can see the two Frigates in my MFD. Bugga, SA4 mud spike direct at target steer point 40 miles out… Switching to HARMS! I’ve got him locked… 88 away! Okay, SA4 is down. Switching to JSOW’s… 25 out, I’m taking the shots… BRUISER, BRUISER! I turn South again in full burn and climb to angels 40. The SA2 tracks us for 50 miles as I rejoin Shad on his starboard and we cruise home uneventful and speechless. With Medals and tea at homeplate we recall the events of the day and wonder… how the hell did we fight our way through that? 14 air to air, 47 grounds kills.
“Hey Shad, wanna do it again?!”

That story was …TOTALLY F**KING AWESOME!! :headb: :drink:
-
And the A2A combat was way more intense! That story only tells half of it. The thing is we fought all 12 jets ( 14 is incorrect ) with JSOWS and Harms on board… I guess we were crazy enough to dogfight CATIII.
We need to fly more so we can have more stories to tell!

The 72nd is keeping me challenged and busy flying and fighting training TE’s, campaigns, CWT, and getting into some Sinai PvP. What a Foxtrot Hoot.
I passed my IFT a while back at the 72nd and am now in Combat Weps Training with their 617th FS.
But - Always dig it to read of the remarkable (but not suprising), and always enternaining ;D, A2A and A2G exploits of my 801st buds.
-
Go on Shad, post a pic of your log book… dare ya!
So you can bag me out on my frat kills…
Go for it…8)
